The Bonney Lake High School Panther Band is in its sixth year of
existence. In this short time the Panther Band has become an
award-winning band program. This band program provides many
wonderful educational experiences for its band students.
Students can learn, grow, and perform with these ensembles:
- Brass Ensemble
- Woodwind Ensemble
- Percussion Ensemble
- Panther Marching Band (PMB)
- Jazz Band
- Pep Band
- Beginning Guitar
The Band Director, Don
Neptun, is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University. Earning
a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education (K-12), Mr. Neptun studied
trumpet, voice, and percussion and performed with many ensembles:
Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, Jazz Choir, Men's
Chorus, & Jazz Combo. Mr. Neptun was also involved
in the World Class Drum & Bugle Corps, The
Cadets, from Allentown, Pennsylvania. He is also
actively involved as a musician at his church, and spends a great
deal of time arranging and writing music.
