Allison Coleman, School Psychologist
As a school psychologist at Emerald Hills, I collaborate with parents, teachers and other staff members to help identify learning and behavior problems that interfere with school success.  As part of this process, I conduct evaluations and assessments to determine if a child is eligible for special education services.

Hilary Morland, Speech/Language Pathologist
Speech-language pathologists, or speech therapists, assess, diagnose, treat, and help to prevent disorders related to communication.  Speech therapists work with children who have difficulty producing speech sounds and children who have language delays, such as delays in vocabulary and syntax/grammar. Children who have difficulty comprehending language, such as word meaning, sequencing and problem solving, may receive speech therapy as well.  Other children who might come to speech therapy: those who have pragmatic or social language disorders, hearing impaired children, children who have difficulty chewing and swallowing and those with fluency disorders.
