11th Grade
American Literature
Students explore
American literature through poetry, shortstories, essays, plays and
novels. Reading, writing, vocabulary are all part of the
course.
Begining Acting
Students develop performance and communication
skills through group games, scene work, workshops, improvisation,
theater techniques, scene writing and other hands-on
activities.
Advanced Acting
Actors further their acting skills with curriculum
that changes each semester. Therefore, students may take the
class over and over again. Coarse focus includes: scene work,
improvisation, theater history, world theater, styles and
techniqus, play readings, monologues, resumes, group-building
games, independant projects and production. There are
two mandatory performances for friends and family at the end
of each semsester.
