About me:
My family is from the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. I was born in the Brox, New York. When I was 7 years old my family moved to Bayamón, Puerto Rico. We lived on the island for 4 years and then moved back to the United States. I was raised bilingual and love to share my childhood memories of the puertorican culture with my classes. I received my BA from Central Washington University in 1994. My first employment was with the Kent School District for 6 1/2 years. I have been married to my husband of 17 years.  I left the profession to be a full time mommy  of 11 years to our 3 beautiful children.  I love to travel and was fortunate to take 2 field trips with my last employment at (Kentmeridian/Kentlake High School) to Spain and France.  I hope to do the same here with Sumner High School. I love to teach and enrich kids with learning español. Let's have fun! ¡Vamos a divertirnos!
